Driving – Smederevo can be reached easily via the highway from Belgrade. It is a 65km drive and will take somewhere between 1hr and 1hr 15mins (depending on traffic).

Bus – To reach Smederevo from Belgrade there are at least a dozen or so buses a day (every 30 minutes) from the Belgrade bus station. USUALLY, the first bus leaves Belgrade at 05:30am, while the last departs from Belgrade at 22:30pm. Some of these go via the motorway and and others take the more scenic route via Grocka, along a high ridge above the River Danube. Usually, it is easiest to purchase a bus ticket directly at the bus station (most station employees will speak good English). Bus times can be found on this site and other similar sites.
